Some of the things I sampled this week

Left – Batute. Frog stuffed with sauted ground pork. Cely’s Carinderia in Nepo. When in Pampanga, just eat what the kapampangans eat.

Right – Sinigang na Maya Maya sa Miso from Lutong Bahay ni Mang Damian in Baliuag Bulacan. Somebody has to blog these Carinderias also. We enjoyed this with the barbecue ribs.

Stuffs from Burgoo, Robinsons Galeria

Left: Shrimp pomelo salad. The shrimps are not that fresh (8/11/06 dinner) for my standards. You can click to see the bigger picture. I think they should review the combination of materials (eg. peanuts for toppings, beneath those mature leaves flavored with vinegarette are chopped onions). Or I just have to ask them next time to set aside the dressing.

Center: Shrimp Jambalaya and it was good.

Right: Chili wings (with blue cheese dressing?) Now, I can’t remember if tasted the dip. I was just bothered by the celery sticks which i never tried to bite because of the slightly yellowish color and the cracks on the tip telling you it’s not that fresh.

Left – Mochi from Susie’s Cuisine.
Right – Kutsinta with freshly grated coconut also from Susie’s cuisine
